Damn, Eric Versus Me and Cat...we got owned like usual. The map was lost temple and we were doing fine, i had goliaths up and running but slightly neglected my missle turrets but had a couple spider mines to make up for it. I had 4 seige tanks and cat had 2 bases 1 of which was 3/4 annihilated. Eric came in with WAY more hydras then i expected courtesy of his overlords and my spider mines could only destroy about 1/2 of the onslaught of spine-firing-psychopaths, midway through my death i had to go and i dunno if cat won or lost that one...

i lost. i ended up running out of mins and he got the things wit long distance attacks. it sucked because if i had had more mins i would have done better........but eric did kick our asses, it was a good thing i had that other base or i would have lost before justin, which is bad =P. j/k.

lol. another story Cat Vs. Me 1 on 1 We both started normally (how else can we start) on Fastest map ever for it's no-bullsh1t aspect to fight on. I got lax about my missle turrets after i surrounded my base with them, and attacked her a couple times with goliaths to wear down her units a tad bit. After i made another mistake by upgrading a lot and being lax about goliaths and BC's (battlecruisers) and her oncoming carrier rush obliterated me. Midway through, i nuked my own base in a last ditch effort to cleanse my territory of invaders, but to no avail 4 were left and another 8 or so came in as backup LOSS to SOLDIER_Colloff

that was one fun game but you got remember the first 1v1 i did wit you justin. me and justin were on BGH(big game hunters) and both of us were doin pretty damn good. i moved my offense to an open space in my base and justin nukes em. so they are gone and i got nothin else. im still tryin to build stuff so justin comes in wit goliaths and kicks my ass. loss to GwM-Hiei. but this was back when i still "sucked" (i still do ^^).

ahh goliaths, my favorite units in the game, 36 air attack and 15 ground damage for 2 persons, 50 mins, and 50 or 100 gas...its a steal! (not as good as a goon but pretty damn good)

what is this "goon" that you speak of? but i agree. in the begginning stages of a match, i find that a seige tank/goliath offensive is the best. then in the latter stages fleets of battles will do.

goon=Dragoon if you get an army of them fast enough you can own. but it would be utterly useless vs a fleet of carriers.

goon=Dragoon if you get an army of them fast enough you can own. but it would be utterly useless vs a fleet of carriers. Actually, they're utterly useless against just about anything. They cost too much, and take up either 2 or 3 unit spots, while hydras just take up 1. So automatically it's about 2H to 1D. Also, they are mechanical, so ghosts can lock em down. Any heavy air unit can take out goons with little trouble, and also, dragoons are easily offed by tanks.
So yes, defending against goons is really easy.

It depends, If it is a really early rush where u are barely getting firebats then no, dragoons are hard to defend against but mid-late game they become gnats basically. Want a good Toss ground offensive unit? use DT's...usually. Jayson makes pretty decent use of them

i find that supporting reavers with shuttles are the ultimate ground- air team with protoss.

Reavers require a lot of air support to pull off. But given the right amount of scouts or carriers, they can go in and take out a good deal of units. Splash is key. Dark Templars are great too, but they are terrible late in the game, when a player is properly equipped with scanning units/towers.
Toss is an incredibly easy race to play as, but it's also hard to get really good. To be an excellent Toss player, you have to figure out all the abilities of the units and buildings, and then how to use them in given situations. Example, learn how effective psi storm is against zerg. Stuff like that.

huh. i find zerg easy to crush in an island map.

yes cause the zerg must expand to get mor units. on islands there is no room to do this. btw in team battles if you are going all DTs wait for your other party to go in first so you can do shit loads of damadge without getting destroyed by the turrets or things that can see invisible things. but im fast to a point off the start so i make DTS kinda fast. but normally get destroyed. cause no defence. in other words dont go DTS. try always rushing to get carriers but also make defence.
