they need new lines of games. mario and zelda are both more then 15 years old. so are donkey kong and i think sonic. they need some more originality.

Umm... I was enjoying Final Fantasy 7 on like........ Sunday or Monday. Final Fantasy hasn't lost its edge. Zelda and Mario are still good but are slowly starting to not appeal to me. From what yall are sayin the new zelda should be good though.... so I'll give it a chance.

yes, final fantasy has lost its edge. how long has it been since you really enjoyed one? FF is just getting started. You have no idea. They made a few mistakes with Enix when they made crap like FF-X2, but you know that you loved every minute of FFX, regardless of the voice acting. The voice acting was a good direction however, and I thought the game was fun. FF-X2 was to appeal to a different audience however, the female players, so we can't really label it a flaming pile of crap, because it was marketed for someone else, currently, FF-XI is going on its 3rd year since being released in Japan, and it going strong, and more people are joining everyday. With constant patches, its not even the same game I started playing about year and a half ago. Its a whole new thing, and I love every second of it. Tactics Advanced was awesome, and Crystal Chronicles was a let down, but with FF-XII coming out, Advent Children, Dirge of Cereberus, and all the rest, you can bet we're in store for more fun.
However! This is the Nintendo Revolution Thread. And Square-Enix hasn't released any information about games on the Revolution as of yet, so lets try to stick to topic shall we?

Ummm... I've played CC.... I got bored after the first 5 minutes or so because it was stupid imo. because it was too freebased like 11, but didnt have ANY of the things an FF should have...they had moogles and monsters...that's about it...and materia...but they had no kick-ass story...it got too repetitive. they had no memorable characters except for an ANNOYING moogle that carries a chalice around (can you say WTF?) and if you by chance LIKED the game enough to play it with another person, they HAD to have a GBA!
