1. Tiers arn't based on items. 2. They arn't basing tiers off of one tournament match and not necisarrily many tournament matches at all. Tiers are based off of any matches in which pros play against each other.

okay. to avoid some confusion >_>
It is true that they put Fox in the top tier after he beat Ken, me personally i believe that is one of stupidest things i have ever heard. But, to let you know, this topic of Fox being put in the top tier has been debated for quite some time, also Japan has Fox listed as the number 1 character in the game in their tier list. So the thing about Fox being moved up doesn't bother me too much, most people agreed that it would have happened soon anyways, just seemed like that match kinda set it off. Sorry for me not making that completely clear at GK = / Other than that, the rest of them are pretty much accurate, and im immensly happy GaW moved up =^_^=, he was my fav low tier char. and i was happy to hear he was moved. okay.. my last complaint the only thing that gets me is Falco was moved up also for the same reason as Fox.. now IMO this could be currently correct now, but later if people begin mastering (although this would be very difficult) the power-shield on his lasers this would send Falco down the tier ladder, but this has yet to be accomplished. So for the time being i believe the tier list is accurate.
One thing that confuses me though...Japan's tier system is quite different then ours.. for instance Bowser is #5 on their list, in a lot of ways i can and cannot see that possible

It's japan, one person or country's opinions are different from anothers, i bet england and spain's tiers are different so what can we really say about being accurate?

[glow=red,2,300] Will you told me that GaW was moved to the bottom of the Middle Tiers. But now he's just at low? [/glow]

im a decent young-link. His main problem is that he DOES have a spike, but it has a small range. his crouching A move can be used as a spike. Link is a hard character to get used to because of his lack-of-bomb-jump like samus but he has a better recovery.

Link's good. His forward-air is a great up close attack. It can be used in a wall of pain type of way. His projectles are his best thing. The boomerang is the best, and his bombs or arrows can be used with the boomerang. While your oponent is swarmed with all the projectiles, you can jump in and use forward-air. I've pulled off some good Link skills on Chris before.
IMO, middle tier fits Link well.

probably because they were designed to be hard to beat in single player

Does the samus-extend-her-hook-longer-trick work with link too?
