Right now, it seems we have 2 priorities.
1. Naruto Three with freeloader - $82.90 2. DVD Recorder - $98.99
My opinion...get the DVD recorder. The time it takes to capture all the videos will be no more. The quality will be great. There won't be any need to have a fast computer next to the TV as we record. (Unless I hook up the camera's mic for real-time recording...this always works well and we can do it easily at my house, colby's, or chris's)
I'm willing to pay for $50+ of the DVD recorder, in as much as it will stay with me. Naruto 3 is very similar to Naruto 2 anyways, plus we have to buy it online, and don't expect my mom to be eager to use her credit card. (I'm already getting an LCD monitor) I can get the DVD recorder at walmart though.
How does that sound?

Question. How will our voices be picked up by the DVD-VCR?

Question. How will our voices be picked up by the DVD-VCR?I was just talking video wise. We'll use the camera's micophone as usual, except just recently we found a way to hook the camera directly up to the computer and record as it captures. The audio has never been as big of a problem though. Even if a computer isn't next to the tv, it isn't nearly as much of a hastle to capture and the quality is still good.
