Here's an idea I've had for some time now. We rent a new release game every weekend or so, (I believe blockbuster has deals for frequent customers) and we make a five to ten minute video of us playing, commenting, and reviewing it. It'll be kinda like G4's review shows.
Good idea?

Yeah, that'd be pretty awsome, well now that I think of it, Maybe we should play the game all the way through, so we can grasp the whole concept of it, and they do have a deal for customers, its like you pay like 25 dollers a month for this card, and you can rent as many games as you want! and return them whenever you want, I think thats something we should look into, expecially when we can start driveing!!! (holds imaginary steering wheel) VROOM VROOM!!!

duo...the day you drive...is the day we all die... well pretty much its an okay idea...i have no complaints except for having to beat the game...so i guess that means we'd have to do it every couple weeks...

I think playing the game 50% of the way (depending on the length) would be fine. If it isn't good by then, it's usually not getting much better or it's just really slow. We also have to make sure we don't spoil anything.

Haha. I, for one, understood the joke. Well actually, I think that'd be really quite cool...as long as the game is multiplayer. Because if it wasn't...well...yea. But it'd be intresting to see how the game plays without having to READ a review. Instead you can WATCH one. Oh, a revolutionary idea, eh?

K! Any suggestions for games to review? Or I could just go to blockbuster and pick out something totally random. It doesn't have to be a positive review of course. So better question, when can we all meet up to record one of these?

I think you should review some multiplayer game that is less popular, but has been talked about enough for people to know what it is. I.e. don't go rent Halo 2 or anything since everyone already done a million reviews. I dunno some less-well known shooter, or maybe a fun new mario game. I suggest Mario Power Tennis, the new Mario Party, or something "fun".

I just bought Power Tennis yesterday! It's quite the fun game for multiplayer. And you got the new special moves for every character.

well the only drawback I can see, the ONLY one would be us reviewing a game that we don't like... I for one would LOVE to do a review on Tales of Symphonia, since chris only played like 1/1,000,000 of the game when he had it, and ive had it for 2 weeks and IM ALMOST ON THE SECOND DISC!!!!! Its really great!!! That and the Thousand Year Door, since im probably the bigest paper mario fan here...I think i have the privalage of doing that one... Well yeah I think doing video taped reviews would be a revolutionary thing in the way of game reviews, outside G4 that is... but there way too mainstream, BUT WE HAVE TO COPYRIGHT THIS IN SOME WAY!!! So, we can make some money whenever the trend catches on... OH and one more thing I think we should just catch little tidbits about the game, not so much information that the whole game is given away in a single video...
The videos would have to be somewhat long so that we can allow time to say "SPOILERS AHEAD!!! if you don't want to know close this window now!!!!" *pause for about 10 seconds* and continue.... plus we should video tape ourselves at like different intervals of the game, like video tape some of the beginning, and a few places afterwards...
