it would be.... interesting but you gotta remember about funding for the air time, actually having time to do it. wouldn't you have to get a ride to a radio station too? that would also be a factor. i say, have fun with it but I don't think it would work >.>

Lol..hell, I like it. Assuming we had all the money and crap in the world. We are talking about FM radio, right?
Otherwise, I think WE CAN do internet radio. I just gotta download the free version of RealProducer (thanks for reminding me) and I think it just uses the site's normal bandwidth. (I hope)

Doesn't look like this is happening. Not now at least......I'll save the idea for when we're the old and washed up RX Crew 50 years in the future and we have nothing better to do.

how about a new angle? how about a simple radio transmitter on somebodies house (its legal and free), and just hook a bigass playlist to it from the comp and let it transmit anime music and kickass techno(and some good rock, for heavens sake) 24/7, with the playlist modified every couple of weeks to keep it fresh? sounds good to me and itll cost under 100 dollars for hardware!

Oh-kayyyyy Actually is it legal to be playing a playlist of songs without the authors permission? I heard that it's legal for radio (internet radio at least) but I'm not to sure. I know www.gamingfm.com has done it for a long time with no issues. Heh, I guess that would make us pretty popular, locally at least. Could turn into something big. (or not)

yes. the cost is minimal, and it will be local to avoid attracting attention to ourselves. npr does it too! and because there will be no commercials, then there is no profit to split between the artists.

this has been a long time in coming, sorry to bring it up again but i have one statement. royalties, i believe, dont come up on stations that are non profit (public). look at wmfe and other stations. nothing to it.

Although Jacob has a point, a radio station just isn't in the interest of me or anyone else to invest the time/money into.
At least not at the momment.
